Valley Of Flower Package
Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. Situated at an elevation of 3,300 to 3,600 meters above sea level, this high-altitude Himalayan valley is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant floral diversity. It is home to over 500 species of wildflowers, including orchids, poppies, and rhododendrons. The valley comes alive with colour during the blooming season from mid-July to mid-August, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
Accessible via a trek from Govindghat, which is approximately 17 kilometers long, the Valley of Flowers offers breathtaking landscapes and panoramic mountain views. The region is also known for its rich wildlife, including rare species such as the Himalayan musk deer and snow leopard. Established as a national park in 1982, it is a protected area managed by the Uttarakhand Forest Department and is a crucial site for conservation.
