Jim Corbett National Park is India’s oldest national park, located in Uttarakhand. Established in 1936 and named after conservationist Jim Corbett, it spans around 520 square kilometers at the foothills of the Himalayas. The park is renowned for its Bengal tiger population and diverse wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and numerous bird species. Visitors can explore the park through jeep safaris and elephant rides, enjoying its varied landscapes of grasslands, forests, and riverine areas. The best time to visit is from November to June.
